Today is International Charity Day

On a special day like Charity Day, it is of course important to think about how you can give charity to, for example, the country you live in, to the countries that are not as privileged as Denmark. Think about how you can give charity to the poor, the sick, the neglected children, nature and animals and much more. There are many ways to give charity, and it is entirely up to the individual person or workplace what to focus on and how many funds and resources they have for charity. At Bernstorff Castle, we support the Danish Hospital Clowns and often sponsor meeting rooms for charitable purposes.

If we are to think about charity in a small way, charity is also important to give to yourself, your family and those around you.

If you have someone in your circle of friends or family who needs a little pampering for various reasons, you can invite them to a lovely Sunday brunch. A Sunday brunch with a beautiful and historic setting, lovely views and delicious homemade food in no less than a castle.

A little about International Charity Day: Celebrated since 2013. The main purpose of the celebration is to make the public aware of this issue as much as possible, to let people know about the existing charitable organizations and the features of their work.
