The Rooms

The hotel section of Bernstorff Palace holds 23 double rooms

21 rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floor of “Kavalergaarden” (the original Horse Guards Quarters), with stairs (no lift, sorry!) leading to the floors. 2 of our rooms are located in “Hovmesterboligen” (the original Footman’s House), which is just across the courtyard. One of these 2 rooms is on the groundfloor and in this room (only!) you are welcome to bring a dog (surcharge of DKK 250,- per night).

The beds are single beds sized 90 x 200 put together as a double bed sized 180 x 200 with a top mattres. Twin beds are possible in most of the rooms.

Bagage service, extra blankets or pillows on request.

Parking is FREE for hotel guests.

Important Information

Late check-in

The Palace’s reception is not staffed 24 hours.

If you expect to check in after 6 pm on weekdays, or if you arrive during weekends af 2 pm, you will receive a personal code and instructions to open a key box, where you collect your key.
