Morning break
Breakfast is served between 07:00-09:00. If your meeting starts later than this, we can offer you a croissant or a real pastry to fortify yourself, so it's not that far to lunch.
Afternoon break
The cake break is another highlight of the day. Homemade and arranged on silver platters, there are at least 2 different bite-sized cakes to choose from.
Birthday cake
If you want to surprise one of the participants with a birthday cake, we can do that too if there are at least 10 of you.
It's a classic layer cake, made from a sugar loaf base, with whipped cream, bananas and seasonal fruit and berries. Decorated according to all the rules of art. Wishes are welcome 🙂

The absolute highlight of the day!
Lunch at Bernstorff Palace is served in the iconic oval Garden Hall. We set the table in the four beautiful living rooms, with the beautiful light from Bernstorffsparken. In the summer, we set the table on the terrace under the parasols. It doesn't get any nicer than that.
Bernstorff Castle lunch
Chef Pia and her staff serve a lunch to be tasted that is hard to describe. Everything is homemade, from the pickled gherkins to the jelly on the apple pie.
Lunch is a 2-course meal served on a plate that follows the seasons and the freshest ingredients on the market. When things are made from scratch from the best ingredients, you can be sure of the quality and we can explain down to the smallest detail what the food contains - this gives you peace of mind that there are no semi-finished products or additives, so you can sink your teeth into the delights of the day with a clear conscience.
Time is all your own
Don't compare the lunch at Bernstorff Castle to the meeting lunch you experience at many conference centers. It is much more than that. It is a signature element of Bernstorff Castle.
Lunch is usually served at 12:00, but respect for your agenda is as important as our respect for the ingredients served, so let's agree on a preferred lunch time to give everyone the best possible experience.
We recommend setting aside 1 hour for lunch, but please let us know if your schedule can fit with this and we will do our best to accommodate.
Welcome drink
Start the evening with an aperitif and meet in Bernstorff Castle's atmospheric Garden Hall or in the cozy Slotskælder. In the summer, it takes place on the terrace.
Whether it's a glass of bubbles, chilled white wine or just a glass of elderflower juice, the surroundings and good company will make it a festive start to the evening

Dinners
We set the table for you in the castle's beautiful, high-ceilinged restaurant rooms with views of the park.
If you want a room exclusively for yourselves, or if you want the dinner to have the feel of a party, we'll talk about it! It may cost a little extra, but let us know what you think.
After dinner
After dinner coffee is generally included in your conference dinner. It will be extra cozy if you go to the Castle Basement and sit under the vaults. Perhaps you fancy a "avec"? Then you don't have to worry about expensive cognac prices, because with us all "avecs" cost the same:

After the coffee
In the Castle Basement you will find 4 atmospheric rooms: the cozy Castle Bar, TV Lounge, Fireplace Room and Wine Room.
Bernstorff Castle's waiters will serve you with drinks and snacks until 23:45 when the castle closes for the night.
Nightcap and a game of billiards
How about a nightcap? Bernstorff Castle has a Rascal Room with 2 pool tables, darts and cool sofas. Talk to the waiter before you leave the castle and get drinks and snacks in the Rascal Room. It's located in the middle building of Kavalergaarden and you can access it with your room key.
