Personal data As a guest at Bernstorff Slot, we register your name, your contact details and your payment details. This general personal data is based on our legitimate interest in being able to administer your stay with us, cf. Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
As a student, overnight guest, event participant, etc. we register your name, contact details and history.
As a participant in an event or similar, we will sometimes take pictures and record videos that will be made publicly available on our various communication channels and platforms for the purpose of raising awareness about our company and marketing Bernstorff Slot.
We always make sure that only harmless photos and videos are taken so that no one feels offended. With regard to photos, our legal basis is either your consent (for portraits) or our legitimate interest (for situation photos) in branding our company, cf. The Facebook functions "like button", "sharing posts" and comment fields give Bernstorff Castle's administrators access to personal data as users on the fan page.
Compliance and cooperation with regulators
We regularly review our own compliance with our privacy policy. We also comply with several self-regulatory security policies. If we receive formal written complaints, we contact the sender to follow up on the complaint. We cooperate with the relevant regulatory authorities, such as the Danish Data Protection Agency, to resolve complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that we cannot resolve directly with our users.

Our privacy policy may change from time to time. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be indicated on this page and if there are significant changes, we will announce them in a more prominent way (for certain services we will announce changes via email, for example).
